How much does an MOT cost?
£54.85 for a car or van, which is the maximum fee the government allows for a Class 4 test. You only pay that once, because your retest is free.
How long does it take?
About 40 minutes. Please arrive a little early so we can start on time.
What happens if my car fails?
We'll talk you through every reason in plain English. You're free to take the car to any mechanic you like for the repairs, then call us to book your free retest.
Can I drive to the test if my MOT has run out?
Yes, you can drive to a pre-booked MOT appointment, as long as the vehicle is roadworthy. Book first, then come straight to us.
How early can I get my MOT done?
You can have it up to a month (minus a day) before your current certificate runs out and still keep the same renewal date for next year.
Do you test motorhomes and vans?
Yes. We're a Class 4 station, which covers cars, most vans and motorhomes.
Can you collect my vehicle?
Yes, collection and delivery is available. Just ask when you book.
